simple 3-part framework.
Part One: The Fundamental Principles and Elements of Design
A well-designed space should create a settling within us. When we experience a design that has not properly implemented the principles and elements of design we may not be able to identify what is off but the space will not set well with us.
This part of the course will give you the foundational interior design knowledge needed to execute well-designed properties so that your guests can enjoy the rest and relaxation they often seek when booking a short-term rental.
Part Two: Branding and Creating Personality
Je Ne Sais Quoi is a french word borrowed into English meaning “I don’t know what.” When you experience this in a person it can leave you feeling like, “There is something special about that person, they have an x-factor, but I don’t know what it is.”
You can create this same kind of experience in a room. Part two of the course will give you the understanding and knowledge as to which elements will infuse branding and personality into your properties and give them what they need to create a unique experience for your guests. This expertise will cause your properties to stand out above other properties nearby.
Part Three: Setting Up Your Property
(The Finishing Touches)
Once you have the foundational knowledge needed to create great designs that have a unique brand and personality you will need the knowledge to pull all of those pieces together to create a finished product.
In this section, you will learn how to plan and organize your project, how to plan and implement a renovation, how to identify your ideal guest, and the steps needed to put the finishing touches on your project so it’s ready for booking.
At the end of each section, there are resource guides and for some of them, there are additional bonus materials to help you implement the materials further.

Meet Lauren
Lauren has been the owner and CEO of Lauren Lowry Interior Design since 2015. Since 2015, she has worked with over 100 clients ranging from the nation's largest homebuilder to private homeowner builds and remodels to designing professional offices Lauren has gained a wealth of knowledge in the designing process.
She began her design journey staging model homes with D.R. Horton, the nation’s largest homebuilder working with budgets of $50k+. Her professional office and private homeowner budgets ranged from $50k-$100k+. After a 2-year maternity leave, Lauren jumped back into designing by taking on her own short-term rental in Central Texas. A project that involved extensive renovations and additions.
Since launching her property in December 2021 she has grossed over $85,000 in revenue.For the past two years, Lauren has applied her knowledge of design working with overseas, out of state, and local investors to transform their short-term property investments into thriving businesses.
She is a certified Short Term Rental stager and in 2023 won the award “Best in Hays County Interior Designer.”
Lauren believes her calling is to move people and places from potential to beautifully alive. She is truly driven by finding the gold in the forgotten and discarded. She has been described as a Renaissance woman and has her hands in many life ventures.
