I can remember the first time I stared into the face of my first property.

People often ask me how long I’ve been doing this and truthfully I’ve been in the art of creating and designing beautiful and creative spaces since I was a little girl.  

As a child, I constructed doll houses and converted corners of rooms into Barbie mansions. My wish lists for Christmas gifts and birthdays included bedroom re-do’s and new decor.

When I moved away to college my dorm was the best one on the block!
People would walk past my door or window and often stop to admire how I had transformed my 4-walled cinder block cell into a little haven. 

I’m not intimidated by the hard work needed to make a property rise above the others, and as a fellow short-term property owner, I know what’s required to do so.

5-Star Design has two full-service packages for you to choose from:

  • IN-PERSON DESIGN

    This package is for local short-term property owners in, or near, San Antonio, Texas.

    With the in-person design package, you will receive:

    • An in-person consultation and walk of the property.

    • Complete design concepts with all of my recommendations.

    • Once approved, I will handle all purchasing of furniture and products, coordination, and/or installation of the complete design concept. Aside from approvals, you won’t need to lift a finger.

    With the in-person design package, you can expect to save time and money, remove the guesswork that comes from handling all the moving parts of upgrading a property, peace of mind that your project is handled from start to finish, and exclusive access to me for questions or concerns as they arise.

  • E- DESIGN

    This package is for short-term property owners anywhere in the world.

    With the virtual design package, you will receive:

    • A virtual consultation and walk of the property.

    • Complete design concepts with all of my recommendations and furniture sources.

    • Once approved, you receive a full breakdown of the design concept, complete with room mood boards and links to all products so you can order the furniture, and quickly get started on your streamlined design process.

    With the virtual design package, you can expect to save time and money on your design, and receive clear direction and a step-by-step plan to execute the project. In addition, you’ll receive expert design insight, mood boards, links to every item for ordering, and exclusive access to me for questions or concerns as they arise.

Still, wondering how this process works?

Here’s a breakdown!

  1. We begin with an in-person or virtual consultation where we walk the property and discuss the scope of work.

  2. Once we agree on the scope I will send over the final contract and the work begins. 

  3. I will then begin creating a design concept and overall “story” for the property. This includes mood boards for each room, design picks, and furnishings.

  4. After the design concept has been created, we will meet for a final review and approval.

  5. VIRTUAL: You will receive mood boards, and links to all products for ordering and installation.

    IN-PERSON: I will arrange all purchases, and handle the assembly and installation of all furnishings. I will also coordinate interior and exterior photos of the property.

Looking for additional services?

I can also help with additional amenities for the property including, but not limited to bed linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc…
